What happens after I pass the desktop assessment?
You will get a confirmation email with next steps, the next steps are:
1. Site Assessment
We will match you with a local verified installer and find a date that works for you. An SMS with a potential date and time will be sent for you to confirm. Read what happens at a Site Assessment to find out what happens.
2. Quote and any pre-works
Your installer will take the information back and log it into our system. Everything you have discussed about panel, battery and inverter placement will be placed on an image of your home. Any pre-works (work that needs to be done prior to install) will be listed.
Your quote includes everything about your chosen package, including:- Battery, solar, and inverter location,
- Final pricing: including any discounts/rebates available, installation variations, and whether it is subscription or outright purchase
- All the information about your install and package.
3. Quote accept and deposit payment
Once you are happy with your quote, any pre-work have been completed, and any rebate applications have been done you will have the ability accept the quote and pay a deposit
Deposit for subscription is 2 months. Your deposit will cover your first 2 months of subscription, your next subscription payment will come out on month 3.
Deposit for upfront is 10% of the total price. You will receive an invoice once your kit has been installed for the final 90% payment.Why take a deposit?
A deposit is required to book in your installer. Without a deposit we won’t be able to book.
Why do you need to know if the pre-works has been completed?
For major pre-works we need to have proof of it completed, this can be a receipt or photo of the work done. We need this so we can confirm with the installer that when the arrive to install everything is ready to do.
For minor pre-works, most can be done on the day of install, however we recommend not waiting for the day of install as it can slow thing down. Minor pre-works does not need proof and you can accept and pay the deposit before this is completed.
4. Install
Similar to your experience booking a site assessment, you will be sent an SMS to confirm a date and time. Your installer will arrive with all of the equipment and information needed to complete the install. Read more about what to expect on the install day.
5. After install
You will receive an email with your handbook, any certificates required, and any other documentation you need.
6. Ongoing support
We are here to help throughout the process. With subscription we actively monitor your system to make sure it is working correctly– which means we can potentially identify any issues before you do.
