We may also use your personal information to inform you of other offers, products and services that we or our partners provide.
  • If we do not receive the personal information requested from you, we may not be able to assess or respond to your expression of interest in our products and services.
  • Our Privacy Policy contains information about:
  • how we will use, collect, disclose and transfer your personal information;
  • how you may access your personal information;
  • how you may seek correction of your personal information;
  • how you may complain about a breach of our privacy obligations; and
  • how we will deal with a complaint.
  • In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we may disclose personal information to our suppliers, consultants, partners, service companies and other contractors, as is required to allow us to provide our products and services, or where you have consented, as is required to facilitate the supply of a product or service to you by your energy retailer. Some of these recipients may be based overseas in New Zealand, Singapore, Germany, the United States of America, the Philippines and India.

Assessments

If you have expressed interest in a program that involves us supplying and installing equipment at your premises:

  • In assessing your expression of interest, we will conduct a desktop assessment and, if you and your property meet our eligibility criteria, then we will conduct a site assessment at your property.
  • The desktop assessment may involve us reviewing satellite imagery of the roof and positioning of your property and other information publicly available to us about your property to verify the suitability of your property for installation and use of the equipment.
  • The site assessment will:
  • involve us contacting you to arrange a site assessment at your property by us or our agent. We will use reasonable endeavours to give you reasonable notice of the intended date of the site assessment;
  • require you to permit us and/or our agent to access your property, undertake the pre-installation inspection and prepare a condition report; and
  • require you to be present at your property (for up to 90 minutes) while we carry out the site assessment.

If you have expressed interest in our products and services, we may also conduct searches and investigations ourselves or through a third party (such as title searches and reviews of rates notices) to understand your ability to pay the amounts you will be required to pay to us if we enter an agreement to supply the equipment to you.

Next steps – Equipment installation

If you have expressed interest in a program that involves us supplying and installing equipment at your premises:

  • Once we’ve carried out our assessments, we will let you know if your property is suitable for the provision of the equipment you’ve requested (“Equipment”).
  • If your property is suitable, then we will provide you with:
      • an indication of the potential savings that we estimate you may be able achieve through use of the Equipment, based on what you’ve told us about your electricity tariffs and how you use energy (please see more detail about this estimate below); and
      • a quote (which will include the solution design) and our terms and conditions for the provision and installation of the Equipment and other related activities, depending on whether you choose to:
        • pay for the Equipment and installation services outright; or
        • enter into a subscription arrangement where you make monthly payments over a term of 5 + 5 years (10 years in total).
  • If you accept the quote we will enter into a separate contract with you.
  • Please note that it may take 4-6 weeks from the acceptance of the quote to the installation of the Equipment. Other factors like inclement weather, inability to access your property, or supply delays may impact this timeframe.
  • If we (or our contractor) need to access your property at any time after installation, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time.
  • The Equipment and any other services that we may choose to offer you will depend on your specific circumstances.

Next steps – Enreal software only

Once we have completed all necessary preliminary checks, we will give you:

  • an indication of the potential savings that we estimate you may be able to achieve through use of the Enreal software, based on what you’ve told us about your electricity tariffs and how you use energy (please see more detail about this estimate below); and
  • a quote for the provision of the Enreal software.

If you accept the quote we will enter into a separate contract with you.

Potential savings estimates

  • The potential savings estimate is based on the historical information you provide us in relation to your energy usage and other factors, and should not be relied on as an indicator or guarantee of future savings arising from use of the Equipment and/or the Enreal software. The amount that you could actually save will depend on several factors, that may include which Equipment you choose (or already have) and whether you use the Enreal software, how much energy you use, what time you use it and the energy plan you have with your electricity retailer.

Not an offer

  • This document does not constitute an offer from us to supply the Equipment or Enreal software to you. The fact that you submit the requested information or that we conduct desktop and site assessments does not guarantee that (a) you will be offered a quote; or (b) that we will provide you with the Equipment or Enreal software. We will work with you to work through the options available to you as we complete our assessments.
