# How much is the deposit?

- **Subscription packages: deposit is equal to 2 monthly payments.**   
  Your deposit will cover your first 2 months of subscription (incl GST), your next subscription payment will come out on month 3.  
- **Upfront purchases: deposit amount is determined by the state you're installing in:** 
    - **South Australia**  
          - Contract value is up to $19,999 = Deposit is $1,000
          - Contract value is $20,000 or more = Deposit is 5% of total cost
    - **All other states** 
          - Contract value is $19,999 or less = Deposit is 10% of total cost
          - Contract value is $20,000 or more = Deposit is 5% of total cost
